As a small, growing business, DJP really benefits from any source of revenue, large or small, that comes in, and it is always appreciated. Donations are treated as almost sacred. While I will likely continue to make upgrades and other new pieces of software available, donations do help give a little incentive for me to take the time to really add the final spit and polish that makes a software tool feel and work like it was professionally-developed rather than something that was just thrown together.
